On Wednesday, 10 September, Pioner Open Air at Gorky Park will present the premiere of the documentary film «Unplugged» about one of the most striking and spectacular acoustic concerts of the band «Night Snipers» («Nochniye Snaipery»).
Reception — 20.30
Screening — 21.30
«Unplugged» will be presented by Diana Arbenina and the crew of the film.
Concert film of the director Elizaveta Kanunnikova has the same title as the programme «Unplugged», that «Nochniye Snaipery» presented in March, 2014. The concert in the club ARENA MOSCOW was performed by all the rules of the ‘unplugged’ format.
The playlist of the «Unplugged» movie includes the songs from the various periods of the band’s work. It’s a well-balanced combination of acoustic songs of the «Snipers» of mid-90s, and the tracks created during the period of the band’s mature electric sound. The band played both popular hits and brand new songs that are to gain the love of their fans. «Unplugged» begins with the episodes showing the preparations for the performance, then the footage of the sound check gives place to the shots of the concert itself.
As the director says, the film includes the most ‘delicious’ moments of the concert day: jams, tuning the instruments, jokes and chats of the musicians with each other and the audience in the breaks between the songs. Kanunnikova is sure that the «Unplugged» movie will inspire the spectators with the emotions that the musicians shared with the audience during the concert.
