On Saturday, 13 December, Pioner Cinema will present Pioner Night dedicated to the best short films of the latest Locarno International Film Festival — the programme Best Shorts: Locarno. Thus Pioner continues introducing the audience to all the major short films of the year. First Pioner presented short films of the Cannes Film Festival, then followed Venice, now is Locarno’s turn. The festival takes place every summer in the Italian part of Switzerland. This event is one of the oldest in the world and is known for its commitment to the young experimental and independent cinema. Beginning filmmakers are presented in the short films programme Pardi Di Domani — “Future Leopards,” which is a true laboratory of the movies of tomorrow.
