On 24 September, Pioner Kids lecture series, the CTC channel, and the Czech Cultural Centre present Vladimír Jiránek’s beloved animated show, “Bob and Bobek.”
There’s nowhere that fate won’t take experienced Bob and young Bobek: to the sea, a concert, the zoo, and even further – to Las Vegas, Bermuda, and the Amazon River.
Vladimir Jiránek’s show, filmed at the end of the 1970s and never shown in the USSR, became the equivalent of “Hey, Wait Up! / Nu, pogodi!” for several generations of Czech children. The adventures of two rabbits, traveling all over the world in a magic top hat, to this day remind us of a lost generation – and that good animation never gets old.
After the screening, children will have a treat from Cafe Pion and a lesson with a teacher from the TsEKh contemporary dance centre.
