Los Angeles, 1980s. Eddie Dodson is a charismatic playboy, owning an antique furniture store for rich and famous people from Melrose Avenue. He is a sharp dresser, he sleeps with bored socialites and is not going to pick up the tab. But Dodson owes a pretty penny to local loan sharks and, above all others, to Roy Fortune, a hard-faced French gangster. And at that moment Eddie decides to rob banks...
The film is based on the true story of Eddie Dodson, called ‘electric slide’ in the USA. He was a high-profile person in The City of Angels (John Lennon and Jack Nicholson were among his friends). However, due to his wild lust for life, he was notorious as the fastest robber — Eddie Dodson robbedmore than 60 banks just within 8 months. Participant in the competition of the Tribeca Film Festival.
