Endre is the quiet but well-intentioned director of a Hungarian slaughterhouse. He often dreams of turning into a deer, wandering around snowy woods, and hopelessly tries to start a friendship with another graceful animal of the female persuasion. One day, a new coworker named Mária appears, and it turns out that she has the same dreams as Endre.
Hungarian director Ildikó Enyedi’s surrealistic opus, which won a Golden Bear at the 2017 Berlinale.
