From March 8 to 15, screenings of the black-and-white version of the film "Parasites", the winner of the Academy award and the winner of the Palme d'or at the Cannes film festival will be held.
This is a crazy social comedy on the timeless subject of inequality, filmed without the sorts of accusations typical of such films. The action takes place in Seoul, and the city is the true protagonist of the film. It is here that the princes and paupers meet: an unemployed family tries to escape their situation through a dangerous scheme that takes advantage of a more fortunate family. This all takes place in a moldy basement on the outskirts of Seoul, and a luxurious home designed by a famous architect in the wealthy suburbs. This is a striking story about metamorphosis and societal absurdity, all with the South Korean capital in the background: an international plot that everyone can understand.
