On Sunday, 20 January, the Pioner Kids lecture series will host a special screening of “Racetime” (Course de Tuques), and we will discuss the sport and how much training is really needed to win with real sled racers. After a small snack, we’ll play team games with snowballs.
In a tiny, picturesque town in the snow-covered mountains of Canada, youngsters are setting up a true sporting competition: racing! Every athlete approaches this task with complete responsibility, and each crafts their own sled themselves. But just like in any other kind of sport, you can’t win in snow racing without some cleverness, because everyone wants to win!
