Chihiro moves into a new house with her mom and dad. After getting lost on the way, they wind up in a strange abandoned city, where a fantastical feast awaits them. Her parents hungrily get to eating, and to the girl's horror, they turn into pigs, having become prisoners of the evil witch Yubaba. Now that she is alone among these magical beings and strange visions, Chihiro must figure out how to free her parents from the evil old woman's curse.
