Aja is a fakir, magician, and most importantly – a trickster, convincing people of his magical abilities. After the death of his mother, he leaves his native Mumbai and sets off for Paris. It was from there that he began his trip around the world, first in an IKEA wardrobe, then in a Louis Vuitton suitcase, and then all the way up on a hot air balloon. Half-refugee and half-tourist, Aja proves that you need to remain yourself, everywhere and at every moment.

This new adventure comedy by Ken Scott, the creator of “Starbuck” and “Unfinished Business” is an international affair, taking place in Mumbai, Paris, Rome, London, and Tripoli. The star of Tamil (and Indian, more broadly) film, Dhanush, is both organic and convincing, and his charm is enough for the entire world.
