Janet (Kristin Scott Thomas), part of the British opposition movement, decides to hold a party in her London home to celebrate receiving an important political post. Her old friends come to visit to congratulate the hostess and just have a good time. But the party spills out into a series of murderous discoveries and horrifying revelations after Bill, Janet's partner, makes a sensational announcement that forces each of the distinguished guests to show their true colours and expose their "skeletons in the closet."
