Bernadette Fox became one of the brightest stars in the architecture world at a young age. She got a special “genius” grant for building a house that was ahead of its time. But over the past twenty years, Bernadette hasn’t created anything. She’s hidden from the world in rainy Seattle, totally dedicating her life to her family and turning into a strange lady that everyone avoids. But when her daughter asks her for a trip to Antarctica, all the walls that Bernadette has built around herself come falling down. And one day, she simply…disappears. Where’d you go, Bernadette?
The shining Cate Blanchett stars in an eccentric comedy from the creator of “The Before Trilogy,” “Boyhood,” “School of Rock,” and “Dazed and Confused.”
